Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II, a new 360-degree camera featuring an 8K/60fps 1-inch HDR sensor, priced from 589 EUR in France starting today.
A new sensor doubles brightness range for day and night shooting
The camera's square HDR sensor increases sensor utilization by 25%, extending 360-degree dynamic range to 14.5 stops -- double the previous brightness range, according to DJI. A new AI SuperNight 2.0 noise-reduction algorithm targets sharper low-light footage, while 2.4 μm pixels and a high-performance chip aim to eliminate motion blur during fast action, DJI said.
Interchangeable lenses withstand scratches, cold, and depth
Osmo 360 II uses a redesigned lens system with an ultra-hard optical film for scratch resistance; damaged lenses can be swapped out without replacing the whole unit. The camera is waterproof to 10 meters out of the box and can reach 50 meters with an optional sealed housing, DJI said. It operates in temperatures as low as -20°C and weighs 183 grams.
Battery life stretches to 100 minutes at 8K, with fast charging
A single charge supports up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K/30fps recording, and the battery reaches 80% charge in 22 minutes, according to DJI. An optional battery extension bar adds up to 180 minutes of recording time. The camera includes 105GB of built-in storage.
Creative modes include 120MP photos and 64x slow motion
Osmo 360 II supports 120MP HDR 360-degree photos, 16K 360-degree timelapse, and up to 64x slow motion via AI frame interpolation in DJI Studio, equivalent to an 8K/480fps crop. It also offers 8K/120fps "Vortex" slow-motion capture and 10-bit color depth with D-Log M support across all video formats, DJI said.
New Spotlight Tracking and NFC pairing simplify editing workflows
The updated DJI Mimo app adds Spotlight Tracking, which keeps a subject centered in frame regardless of camera rotation without post-production cropping. An NFC touchpoint lets users pair with the app, transfer footage, or jump straight to editing. The camera also connects directly to DJI's Mic 3, Mic 2, Mic Mini 2S, Mic Mini 2, and Mic Mini via OsmoAudio.
DJI debuts the camera at IFA 2026 in Berlin
DJI will showcase Osmo 360 II at IFA 2026, running September 4-8 at stand H20-129 in Hall 20. In France, the Standard Bundle costs 589 EUR and the Adventure Bundle costs 739 EUR, with accessories including a lens kit (25 EUR), battery extension bar (99 EUR), and rugged clip kit (49 EUR) sold separately. DJI Care Refresh protection plans, covering accidental damage and water damage with up to four replacements over two years, are also available for the new camera.
