EZVIZ Debuts AI Video Doorbells, Wireless Doorphones at IFA

Hoofddorp – September 12, 2026 -- EZVIZ has unveiled an expanded lineup of smart entry devices at IFA in Hall 1.2, including AI-powered video doorbells, video doorphones, and gate openers built for European homes of varying sizes and layouts.

The EP8 Ultra doorbell adds an AI screen for face recognition

The EP8 Ultra video doorbell, which launched just before IFA, upgrades on dual-lens technology that lets users see both visitors and packages at the door. It now includes a built-in interactive screen featuring AI characters and on-device AI recognition of familiar faces, designed to save energy while making entrances feel more personal. Jasmine Zhu, Product Manager of EZVIZ Europe, said the device targets specific entrance types like apartment hallways.

The HP7 Battery doorphone drops the need for wiring

Building on the existing HP7 and HP7 Pro video doorphones, the new HP7 Battery model runs on battery and solar charging, removing the need for hardwired installation. EZVIZ says this simplifies setup for seamless unlocking and remote access management without professional installation.

New gate openers cover arm-swing and cylinder-swing designs

EZVIZ also introduced the HG1 250 Pro for arm-swing gates and the HG3 300 Pro for cylinder-swing gates. Combined with the existing HG2 600 Pro sliding gate opener, the three models now cover most gate types and weights found across European driveways, aimed at making DIY-friendly smart gate access more accessible.

The smart entry lineup won a Digital Trends Publisher Award at IFA

EZVIZ's smart entry product family received the Digital Trends Publisher Award at this year's show. Zhu said the goal is for European users to find home entry devices that fit their specific living situation from the moment they walk through the door.
