Hoofddorp – September 12, 2026 -- Smart home company EZVIZ has expanded its lineup of AI-powered entry devices, showcasing video doorbells, video intercoms and door openers at IFA in Hall 1.2, aimed at European households of varying sizes and home types.
The EP8 Ultra doorbell adds an AI-driven screen for facial recognition
Launched just before IFA, the EP8 Ultra video doorbell features a built-in AI display designed for tight entryways such as apartment hallways. Unlike dual-lens doorbells that separately detect visitors and packages, the EP8 Ultra combines an interactive screen with AI characters for emotional engagement and facial recognition technology to optimize power consumption.
The HP7 Battery intercom drops wiring in favor of solar charging
Building on the earlier HP7 and HP7 Pro video intercoms, the new HP7 Battery model runs on battery power with solar charging, removing the need for wired installation or manual maintenance. The device is intended to simplify remote access management for users without complex wiring setups.
Three new door openers cover swing, cylindrical and sliding gates
EZVIZ rounded out its vehicle-access lineup with the HG1 250 Pro for swing doors and the HG3 300 Pro for cylindrical swing doors. Combined with the existing HG2 600 Pro sliding door opener, the three models are designed to cover most door weights and opening mechanisms found across Europe.
EZVIZ picked up a Digital Trends Publisher Award for its smart access lineup
The company's smart entry portfolio received recognition at IFA through the Digital Trends Publisher Awards. Jasmine Zhu, product director at EZVIZ Europe, said the company wants its home technology to extend beyond smart cameras into everyday entry convenience, so users can find comfort as soon as they walk through the door.
The entry systems form part of five product categories EZVIZ presented at its IFA stand this year.
