Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Hisense unveiled its "Companion Living" concept at IFA 2026, introducing an AI system called V AIOS that aims to coordinate kitchen, laundry and climate appliances automatically for users.
V AIOS builds on four core AI capabilities
V AIOS, the next evolution of Hisense's VIDAA OS, is structured around four functions: Sense, Think, Communicate and Execute. The system is designed to detect people, devices and surroundings, interpret context and intent, communicate across devices, and coordinate actions on the user's behalf.
The AI Companion Suite targets three daily routines
Built on top of V AIOS, the AI Companion Suite focuses on Cooking, Laundry, and Air & Energy. In the kitchen, the system is meant to link the refrigerator, oven and other appliances to recommend recipes based on available ingredients and individual food preferences, then guide the cooking process.
For laundry, the suite is designed to recognize fabric types and coordinate washing and drying settings for each garment automatically. In the living space, Hisense's UR9 device acts as a hub for the connected home, adjusting airflow and environmental settings based on occupants and conditions.
Hisense extends its UEFA sponsorship through 2028
Hisense also confirmed a partnership with UEFA EURO 2028, its fourth consecutive UEFA European Championship sponsorship following the 2016, 2020 and 2024 tournaments.
