Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Hisense unveiled a new lineup of TVs, projectors and audio gear at IFA 2026, winning multiple IFA Innovation Awards while pushing eye comfort as a standard feature rather than a premium extra.
The Soundbar UX1 takes home top honors at IFA
Hisense's Soundbar UX1 was named an outright winner at the IFA Innovation Awards, delivering 11.2.6-channel sound with Dolby Atmos, DTS and Hi-Concerto integration that syncs with separate Hisense TVs for a unified audiovisual setup. The 116UXS MiniLED TV, UR8 TV, REGZA RGB Mini LED ZX Series and XR10 laser projector were all named honorees in their categories.
The 116UXS flagship hits 10,000 nits with a four-color backlight
Making its European debut, the 116UXS runs on Hisense's Chromagic 2.0 technology, adding a dedicated cyan light source alongside red, green and blue to reach 110% of the BT.2020 color space. The set carries Pantone Validated RGB MiniLED and Pantone Color certifications, pairs a 10,000-nit peak brightness with an obsidian panel, and runs Hisense's Hi-View AI Engine RGB for image processing.
TÜV Rheinland certifies the entire 2026 RGB MiniLED range for eye comfort
The 116UXS earned a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light hardware certification, and the certification now extends across Hisense's full 2026 RGB MiniLED lineup, including the UR9S and UR8S models, under the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort standard. Hisense and TÜV Rheinland marked the milestone at a joint IFA event featuring Henk Pieters, TÜV Rheinland's senior vice president of global sales, marketing and communications for Business Stream Products, and Sonny Ming, general manager of TV marketing at Hisense Global Commercial Center. Ming said the certification objectively confirms that Hisense's RGB MiniLED TVs deliver more comfortable viewing, and that the company will keep pushing display innovation to combine vivid color with better eye comfort.
Laser projectors and a 360Hz display technology round out the showcase
The XR10 laser projector, Laser Cinema PX4 Pro and Laser TV L9Q Pro also received TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, while the C3 series expands Hisense's large-screen laser lineup. Hisense additionally showed a world-first Field Sequential Display architecture that removes color filters by presenting red, green and blue image components sequentially in time, enabling higher brightness, cleaner colors, greater energy efficiency and refresh rates up to 360Hz compared with conventional LCD panels.
