Berlin – September 11, 2026 -- Hisense is showing off a new lineup of AI-connected home appliances at IFA 2026, letting visitors ask a fridge what to cook and have an oven, wine cabinet and dishwasher carry out the rest of the process automatically.
The AI Companion Suite links appliances from meal planning to cleanup
The system, powered by Hisense's ConnectLife platform, starts with the AI Companion Refrigerator, which scans stored ingredients and suggests recipes based on personal preferences. Once a dish is chosen, the AI Companion Oven can begin automatic cooking while the AI Companion Wine Cabinet suggests a pairing and keeps it at proper storage temperature. Afterward, the AI Companion Dishwasher checks how dirty the dishes are and adjusts its cleaning cycle accordingly.
Laundry and living-room devices aim to cut down on manual settings
In the laundry area, the AI Companion Laundry Suite identifies fabric type and automatically picks wash and dry settings for a load-and-go routine. In the living space, the AI Companion Air Conditioner tracks indoor conditions and occupant movement to adjust airflow, while an AI Companion Energy System factors in weather and time-of-use electricity pricing to manage household energy use.
Hisense is among the first brands to link appliances to Amazon's Alexa+
Using Amazon's new Smart Home AI Toolkit, Hisense will let Alexa+ users control select air conditioners with voice commands, with Alexa+ handling the settings and completing the requested action. The feature is expected to roll out in the coming months.
Several Hisense products picked up IFA awards this year
The Multi Function II Series, an all-in-one energy-saving HVAC system, received a Winner Award, and the X-zone Master earned an Honoree distinction. The U8 Air Master Air Conditioner, W60 3D Kitchen-fit Series and a 60cm Integrated Wine Cabinet were also recognized.

Hisense describes the underlying technology as V AIOS, a framework that allows devices to sense conditions, decide on actions, communicate with users and other devices, and execute tasks without step-by-step input.
