Hisense Unveils AI-Powered Smart Home Suite at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Hisense showcased its new AI Companion Suite at IFA 2026 in Berlin, a set of connected smart-home features designed to automate cooking, laundry, and energy use through its ConnectLife platform.

An AI fridge suggests meals based on stored ingredients

Asking "What should I cook?" triggers the system: an AI-equipped refrigerator scans stored ingredients and proposes recipes based on personal preferences. Selected recipes can sync automatically with the AI Companion Oven, while the AI Companion Wine cellar recommends food pairings and maintains optimal storage conditions. After the meal, an AI dishwasher detects dish soiling levels and adjusts its wash cycle accordingly.

The AI Companion Laundry Suite picks wash cycles automatically

In the laundry room, the suite identifies fabric characteristics to select appropriate washing and drying cycles, adjusting the process automatically so users only need to load the machine and start it.

Climate control adapts airflow to where people are in a room

An AI air conditioning unit monitors indoor conditions and occupant presence, adjusting airflow to follow people's movement. The AI Companion Energy System factors in weather and time-of-use electricity pricing to help optimize household energy consumption.

Hisense becomes an early partner for Amazon's Alexa+ smart home toolkit

Through ConnectLife, Hisense is working with Alexa+ to become one of the first appliance brands to bring smart home devices into Amazon's AI assistant using its new Smart Home AI Toolkit. Once Alexa+ becomes available in the coming months, customers will be able to control select Hisense air conditioners by simply stating what they need, with Alexa+ handling the settings and executing the action.

Five Hisense products won IFA innovation awards

The Multi Function II series, an energy-efficient all-in-one air conditioning and heating solution, received the IFA Winner Award, while the X-zone Master model earned an Honoree distinction. The U8 Air Master air conditioner, the W60 3D kitchen range, and a 60cm integrated wine cellar also received recognition at the show.

Hisense said the underlying V AIOS platform allows its devices to sense conditions, communicate with users and other devices, and autonomously coordinate tasks across the smart home.
