Hisense Unveils Eye-Friendly RGB MiniLED TVs and Award-Winning Soundbar at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Hisense used IFA 2026 to show off a new lineup of TVs, laser projectors and audio gear built around brighter colors and less eye strain, with its UX1 soundbar taking top honors at the IFA Innovation Awards.

The 116UXS TV debuts in Europe with a four-color backlight

The flagship 116UXS, making its European debut, adds a dedicated cyan light source to red, green and blue backlighting, reaching up to 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut. It carries Pantone Validated RGB MiniLED and Pantone Color certifications, and pairs a 10,000-nit peak brightness with Hi-View AI RGB processing and an Obsidian panel for what Hisense describes as more accurate color and contrast.

TÜV Rheinland certifies low blue light across the RGB MiniLED range

The 116UXS earned a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light hardware certification, while other 2026 RGB MiniLED models -- including the UR9S and UR8S -- received the broader TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification. Hisense and TÜV Rheinland marked the milestone at a joint IFA event attended by Henk Pieters, TÜV Rheinland's senior vice president for global sales, marketing and communication in Business Stream Products, and Sonny Ming, Hisense's general manager of TV product marketing. Ming said the certification confirms that Hisense's RGB MiniLED TVs deliver a more comfortable viewing experience while the company keeps refining display technology.

Laser projectors and a new panel design join the eye-comfort push

The XR10 laser projector, PX4 Pro laser cinema and L9Q Pro laser TV also received TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, alongside the C3 series. Hisense additionally introduced Field Sequential Display technology, an LCD architecture that removes color filters by sequencing red, green and blue light over time, enabling higher brightness, cleaner color, better energy efficiency and refresh rates up to 360Hz compared with conventional LCD panels.

The UX1 soundbar and HiClips earbuds round out the audio lineup

The award-winning UX1 soundbar combines 11.2.6-channel sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS support, plus Hi-Concerto integration with select Hisense TVs. The open-fit, fully wireless HiClips earbuds weigh 5.5 grams per earpiece and use a flexible design intended for all-day wear. IFA Innovation Awards also recognized the 116UXS TV, the UR8 TV, the REGZA RGB ZX series mini LED TV and the XR10 laser projector.
