Alpharetta – October 12, 2026 -- Hisense's U7 Series MiniLED TV is on sale now in the US from $1,299 MSRP, with screens reaching 116 inches. The cheaper U6 Series follows at retailers in the coming weeks.
Both series make up the company's 2026 ULED MiniLED lineup. Hisense timed the launch to the FIFA World Cup 2026TM tournament in the United States and pitches the TVs at game-day hosting on a mid-range budget.
The U7 Series packs a 165Hz panel and 116-inch sizes
The U7 uses Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro with Full Array Local Dimming and the Hi-View AI Engine Pro. Hisense says this delivers brighter highlights and deeper blacks, even in bright rooms.
For gaming and sports, the panel has a native 165Hz refresh rate with intelligent motion processing. Audio comes from a 50W multi-channel system (2.1.2) with Dolby Atmos® and DTS Virtual:X®.
Shoppers can pick between two smart platforms: Google TVTM (U7SG) or Fire TV (U7SF). The U7 Series is sold at Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and select retailers.
The U6 Series covers 55 to 100 inches with Fire TV
The U6SF Pro leads the U6 range. Hisense is also adding an entry-level MiniLED model, the U6SF, for buyers who want MiniLED at a lower price.
The U6 combines Hi-QLED MiniLED with Full Array Local Dimming and Quantum Dot color. AI-driven picture optimization adjusts the image continuously based on what is on screen. An integrated subwoofer and Dolby Atmos® support add depth without extra speakers or wires.
All U6 models run Fire TV OS. Hisense has not yet given a price or exact release date for the U6 and U6 Pro.
An RGB MiniLED tier will sit above ULED
Hisense describes the ULED models as its balance of performance and value. A forthcoming RGB MiniLED Series will serve as the ultra-premium tier above them.
"People are gravitating toward larger screens and using them to bring people together," said James Fishler, Chief Commercial Officer at Hisense USA.
