Los Angeles – September 09, 2026 -- Huion has officially launched the Kamvas Pad 12, a new Android drawing tablet that arrives one year after the debut of its Kamvas Slate lineup.
The tablet ships with a magnetic, battery-free stylus
The Kamvas Pad 12 pairs with the PW600C EMR stylus, built on Huion's PenTech 4.0 technology. The pen requires no battery and attaches magnetically to the tablet for easy storage and portability.
A 12.2-inch screen delivers 2K resolution at 90Hz
The display runs at 2,400 x 1,600 resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate, aimed at sharp detail and smooth stroke rendering. Its 3:2 aspect ratio suits document reading, and a split-screen function lets users draw from reference images or take notes while reading.
Canvas Glass 3.0 aims to cut eye strain and glare
The tablet uses Huion's third-generation Canvas Glass 3.0 treatment, featured across its newer Kamvas devices. A soft-light screen is designed to reduce eye fatigue during long drawing sessions, while a textured surface mimics the feel of paper. An AG+AF coating is built to minimize glare and resist fingerprints and smudges.
Android 16 comes preloaded with five drawing apps
The Kamvas Pad 12 runs Android 16 and ships with HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint X, MediBang Paint, and Huion Note pre-installed, letting users draw or take notes without downloading extra software.
An eight-core MediaTek chip powers the device
A MediaTek Genio 720 octa-core processor handles the workload, which Huion says keeps the display smooth and lag-free even when running multiple apps or working with several layers in drawing software.
Huion positions the device for artists, students, and travelers
