The launch comes one year after the company's Kamvas Slate series debuted, expanding Huion's tablet lineup as competition in the digital drawing space heats up.
The stylus attaches magnetically and never needs charging
The standout feature is the bundled PW600C pen, a battery-free EMR stylus powered by Huion's PenTech 4.0 technology. It snaps onto the tablet magnetically, making it easy to carry both pieces together without hunting for a charging cable or spare batteries.
A 12.2-inch screen targets both drawing and reading
The tablet packs a 12.2-inch display with 2K resolution (2400 x 1600) and a 90Hz refresh rate, aimed at smooth linework and sharp detail. Its 3:2 aspect ratio suits document reading, and a split-screen mode lets users sketch while referencing images or take notes while reading side by side.
Canvas Glass 3.0 mimics the feel of paper
Huion's third-generation Canvas Glass 3.0 treatment gives the screen a textured, paper-like surface designed to reduce glare and smudging. An AG+AF coating cuts down on reflections and fingerprints, while the soft-light display aims to ease eye strain during long sessions.
Android 16 arrives preloaded with drawing apps
The Kamvas Pad 12 runs Android 16 and ships with creative software already installed, including HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint X, MediBang Paint and Huion Note. An 8-core MediaTek Genio 720 processor handles the workload, which Huion says keeps performance smooth even when running multiple apps or working across several drawing layers at once.
Huion positions the device for drawing, gaming, studying and office tasks, marketing it toward frequent travelers who want a portable pen tablet or pen display they can use anywhere.
