Los Angeles – October 16, 2026 -- MagBak has opened pre-orders for the MagBak Elite for iPhone Duo, an $89 case designed for the first folding Apple phone, with new orders expected to ship in mid-November. Initial pre-orders have already sold out twice.
A foldable changes shape dozens of times a day, and the case is built around that. Ronny I., MagBak's head of product, said the aim was a case that works across multiple form factors, whether the phone is open or folded.
A kickstand and finger loop work in both open and folded modes
The built-in metal kickstand supports portrait or landscape use, folded or unfolded, and clicks away when not in use. A silicone finger loop makes one-handed and two-handed use more stable, extends how much of the screen a thumb can reach, retracts when not in use, and does not interfere with charging. Grip grooves along the edge make the case easier to open.
Magnets in the back panel and hinge side let Duo stick to metal
Magnet arrays in both the back panel and the hinge side let the Duo attach to any metal surface or to MagBak's MagStick mounting system, open or folded. The case supports 25W MagSafe charging, with precise magnetic alignment for efficient power transfer.
Reinforced corners, a hinge guard and a screen protector cover the phone
Reinforced corners, raised corner lips and air-cushioned corners absorb impact. A Spine Shield guards the hinge without interfering with opening, and it is magnetic for stable mounting when the phone is open. Each case includes a screen protector for the front screen.
Two case colors, three swap packs
The Elite for Duo comes in Black and Beige. Buttons and finger loops swap out through color packs in Red, White and Grey. Each case ships with a MagStick and an external screen protector with an installation kit.
The case works with MagBak's Smart Wallet, which the company describes as one of the only phone wallets sized for the iPhone Duo. It also fits the wider MagBak lineup, including MagSticks, the 3-in-1 MultiCharger, the Travel Charger, and car and Tesla mounts and chargers.
U.S. shipping is free on orders over $50, and returns are accepted within 30 days.
