Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Reolink used IFA Berlin 2026 to unveil the OMVI 2i Ultra, a wire-free dual-camera security device, alongside new subscription-free AI tools for its smart home lineup. The announcements were made at the company's booth in Hall 1.2, Booth 181, during the trade show running September 4-8 at Messe Berlin.
The OMVI 2i Ultra pairs two cameras for wider coverage without wiring
The new device combines an 8MP wide-view camera with a 5MP pan-tilt camera that can rotate 355 degrees and tilt 50 degrees. Reolink's SyncTrack feature lets the pan-tilt camera keep tracking a detected object even after it moves outside the wide-view camera's frame, and users can tap any spot on the wide-angle image to redirect the second camera there.
A detachable 10,000mAh battery is rated for up to six months of use per charge, which Reolink says is double the runtime of comparable bullet-PT cameras. A built-in 6W solar panel using the company's SolarEase technology increases charging efficiency by 26% and can sustain the camera on just 30 minutes of daily sunlight, even in low-light or partially shaded spots.
The OMVI 2i Ultra arrives in late October with pricing between $200 and $250. It joins the OMVI X16 PoE flagship, which offers 24MP resolution and 16x optical zoom and is expected to launch in Q4 2026, and the OMVI 3i PoE & WiFi, which launched in June 2026.
ReoNeura AI now lets users train custom detection scenarios
Reolink's on-device AI engine, ReoNeura, adds Custom AI Detection, allowing users to define and train the system to recognize specific situations, such as a side gate being left open, and receive tailored alerts. The feature runs locally without a cloud subscription.
These tools feed into the new Reolink Home Hub 2, a local storage and management system launching this fall at $199.99. It connects up to eight Reolink cameras with as much as 16TB of external storage and includes Local AI Video Search, letting users search recorded footage using natural-language descriptions without a cloud subscription.
New integrations link Reolink cameras to existing smart home setups
Reolink cameras now work with Alexa, Google Home, Home Assistant, Homey and IFTTT, with more integrations planned. Users can view live feeds on Echo Show and Google Nest Hub displays, set automations tied to camera events, and issue voice commands.
The company also introduced the TrackFlex WiFi, a 4K dual-lens camera with 270-degree out-of-view detection, 355-degree pan and 50-degree tilt with auto-tracking zoom, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. It distinguishes people, vehicles and animals to reduce false alerts and uses Quick Event Localization to capture full-context recordings. It will be available in the U.S. in Q4 2026 for $199.99.
