Las Vegas – September 16, 2026 -- SIRUI's upcoming Aurora 15mm F1.6 full-frame autofocus lens won a "Best of Show" Award at IBC 2026 on September 13, recognizing the company's latest push into ultra-wide, large-aperture optics for full-frame creators.
The Aurora 15mm F1.6 pairs a wide field of view with fast light gathering
The lens combines an ultra-wide 15mm focal length with an F1.6 aperture, a 0.3-meter minimum focusing distance, low distortion and a compact, lightweight build. SIRUI notes the lens reflects its in-house development and production of aspherical lens elements.
SIRUI expanded its lineup with new anamorphic and everyday-carry options
At Booth 12.D31, SIRUI displayed the newly launched Saturn V2, a 1.6x anamorphic lens with full-frame coverage that supports both horizontal and vertical shooting for different production formats. The company also previewed two new focal lengths in its Aurora series, including a 24mm variant aimed at vloggers, wedding and event shooters, and documentary filmmakers, built with low focus breathing and a compact form factor.
SIRUI additionally showcased its upcoming Swift autofocus lens series, built around a "Daily Carry" concept for creators wanting a compact, lightweight everyday option. The two new Aurora focal lengths and the Swift series are set to launch progressively over the coming months, alongside the brand's existing Vision Prime, Iron-Star and Astra lineups.
Creators and media joined SIRUI on-site during the show
Filmmakers Sightseeing Stan, Vi-Dan and INDIE Filmmakers took part in on-site talks discussing their experience shooting with SIRUI lenses. Imaging outlet CineD conducted an on-site interview with the SIRUI team, and SIRUI partnered with EVOTO and HOLLYLAND on a joint check-in campaign during IBC 2026.
