TCL Sweeps 30+ Awards at IFA 2026 for TVs, AI Glasses and Smart Home Tech

Berlin – September 12, 2026 -- TCL picked up more than 30 awards at IFA 2026 in Berlin, including seven IFA Innovation Award Honoree titles and five Global Product Technology Innovation Awards, alongside recognitions from Android Authority, TechRadar, Tom's Guide and What Hi-Fi?.

The X11L TV wins top honors from two major outlets

The TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED television took home the IFA Breakthrough 2026 Award from Android Authority and the Best in Show Award from Tom's Guide, both citing its next-generation SQD-Mini LED display technology. The TCL C8L SQD-Mini LED TV separately earned an IFA Innovation Awards Honoree title for its display engineering and design. The TCL X3 Series OLED gaming monitor also received Honoree status for its high contrast, refresh rates and design.

The P80 Ultra smartphone stands out for camera and screen

In smartphones, the TCL P80 Series won the Best of IFA 2026 Award from Android Authority. The flagship P80 Ultra received a separate special IFA Innovation Award recognizing its camera system, display and design.

RayNeo AR glasses claim a world-first Dolby Vision certification

Among connected eyewear, the RayNeo iO won an IFA Innovation Award Honoree title for its built-in AI assistant. The RayNeo GT Max AR glasses secured both an IFA Innovation Award Honoree and a Global Product Technology Innovation Award for delivering what TCL describes as the first Dolby Vision-certified augmented reality experience.

Smart home devices from air conditioners to family robots win recognition

TCL's smart home lineup also scored wins: the Solar Series air conditioner, the TwinMag Prime Fresh Series refrigerator and the heyAiMe family companion robot each received a Global Product Technology Innovation Award. The TCL 5G AI CPE X5 router earned an IFA Innovation Award Honoree title for its agentic features.

TCL and TÜV Rheinland publish a new display evaluation framework

Beyond product awards, TCL and TÜV Rheinland jointly released a white paper titled "SQD-Mini LED Display Industry," laying out a framework for assessing screen performance across real-world viewing conditions. TCL also secured the first global SGS Natural Light Visual Comfort certification, based on a standard developed together with SGS.
