New York – November 02, 2026 -- XTEINK has launched its AI InkApp Store in international markets, letting owners of its magnetic e-paper devices turn plain-language descriptions into apps. The X4 Pro is supported now, at an MSRP of $99.
Describe an app, and AI writes the code
In InkApp AI Studio, users describe a feature in words and AI generates the code. They preview and refine the result in a browser-based simulator. They can then send the app straight to a compatible device or submit it to the store for review and distribution.
XTEINK says users can build reading companions, to-do lists, custom clocks and interactive games.
Eric Xu, head of AI at XTEINK, said he wants anyone who can use natural language to be able to create apps that fit their own needs.
More than 360 apps are already in the store
XTEINK began prototyping AI-generated e-paper apps in January 2026, made it a formal project in March and launched InkApp AI Studio in July. By Oct. 29, more than 100 developers worldwide had created over 700 projects and held over 18,000 AI conversations.
The global app store listed more than 360 apps, about half of them user-created. It had received over 1,100 submissions, including updates.
The InkApp API reached version 2.17 in under a month
XTEINK made the InkApp API public on Oct. 10. By Oct. 29 it had reached version 2.17, after 34 iterations and 20 proposals co-created with users and developers. It covers live internet access, auto-save, reading status, Bluetooth keyboards and customizable interfaces. The platform also handles image conversion, interface components, fonts, app storage and device compatibility.
Apps are tested in simulators and on devices, and store submissions go through human review.
