ASUS Unveils “Design You Can Feel” Exhibition at Milan Design Week 2025, Showcasing AI-Driven Innovation and Sensory Design

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – April 20, 2025 — ASUS has officially opened its highly anticipated “Design You Can Feel” exhibition at Milan Design Week 2025, inviting visitors into an immersive world where materiality, craftsmanship, and artificial intelligence converge. The showcase highlights the brand's visionary design philosophy and debuts the latest Zenbook lineup, including four exclusive Ceraluminum™ Signature Editions.

Design as an Experience: A Journey Through Innovation

A Multi-Sensory Exploration at Galleria Meravigli

Set in the historic 1920s Galleria Meravigli in Milan, the exhibition runs from April 8 to 13, 2025, and offers a hands-on, interactive look at how ASUS design blends aesthetics with practicality. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event is free to the public and aims to reveal how ASUS devices allow users to not only use technology—but feel it.

A Sensory Showcase: “Willful Wonder” by Studio INI

At the heart of the exhibition is “Willful Wonder,” a bespoke installation by Studio INI, created under the direction of founder Nassia Inglessis. The installation transforms visitor movement into a dynamic, responsive experience, using wing-like, semi-transparent Ceraluminum™ panels that open and close as guests walk through.

"At Studio INI, we seek to create what we call an embodied intelligence in our designs – we create a seamless connection between built architecture and the human element," said Inglessis.

"As people walk through the installation and touch the Ceraluminum, each touch will be recorded by the changes in its conductivity. So people will be able to see a spatial representation of their behavior in the installation."

This kinetic sculpture draws inspiration from the Zenbook’s slim silhouette and ASUS’s proprietary Ceraluminum™—a material that marries strength, elegance, and sustainability. AI interprets visitor interactions in real-time, offering a futuristic glimpse into how humans and machines can co-create art and experience.

Inside ASUS Design Thinking: Products with Purpose

Interactive Zones Illuminate Design Innovation

Beyond the installation, the exhibition invites visitors to dive into ASUS Design Thinking—a philosophy deeply embedded in the company’s DNA. Interactive exhibits allow guests to “feel” the design of ASUS products, from the lightweight Zenbook A14 to the versatile ProArt, fragrant Adol, and stylish ROG devices.

Ceraluminum™: A Material Revolution

The exhibit also features “Ceraluminum™: A Tribute to Nature’s Wonder,” where attendees can learn about this groundbreaking material. Developed through a plasma-discharge process that transforms aluminum into a ceramic-like form, Ceraluminum offers enhanced durability, wear resistance, and environmental sustainability.

Introducing the Zenbook Ceraluminum™ Signature Edition

Nature-Inspired Design Meets Cutting-Edge Engineering

The highlight for many is the unveiling of the Zenbook Ceraluminum™ Signature Edition. This limited-edition series blends ASUS’s engineering excellence with nature’s artistry, offering four finishes—Obsidian Black, Pamukkale White, Terra Mocha, and Luminous Blue—each inspired by Earth’s most dramatic landscapes.

"At our core, we believe in the power of sensory experiences to forge meaningful connections with design. It’s all about crafting products that allow each user to feel and make good use of our innovations,” said H.W. Wei, Associate VP of ASUS Design Center.

With fracture toughness three times that of anodized aluminum and 100% recyclability, Ceraluminum exemplifies ASUS’s dual commitment to performance and sustainability. Paired with matching sleeves and packaging, each Zenbook Signature Edition is a tangible testament to ASUS’s design ethos.
