Abu Dhabi – September 09, 2026 -- Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences will add three new Harry Potter-themed lands to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the region's largest indoor theme park, located on Yas Island.
Three new zones will span roughly 63,000 square meters
The additions -- named Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and The Forbidden Forest -- will occupy about 63,000 square meters (678,000 sq ft) of new park space. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2029.
Attractions will be built exclusively for the Abu Dhabi park
The Harry Potter lands will feature attractions developed specifically for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, described by organizers as globally exclusive to this location. Miral Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak called the expansion a milestone in Yas Island's ongoing development and a continuation of the company's long-running partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
The park currently operates six themed lands
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi has featured six immersive themed areas since opening. Simon Robinson, President of Global Experiences & Studio Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, said the Harry Potter expansion deepens the connection between the company's franchises and its fans while setting new benchmarks for immersive entertainment.
The Harry Potter lands join two previously announced DC attractions
The new Harry Potter zones are part of a larger expansion that also includes two already-announced DC-themed rides, Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away. Combined, these additions will increase the park's total footprint by more than 50%, adding approximately 70,000 square meters (753,478 sq ft) of new theme park area.
