The refreshed show adds new projections at Rivers of America, the facade of "it's a small world," and all the way down Main Street, U.S.A., in addition to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Music and projections run on nightly scheduled performances, with fireworks added on select evenings.
The show debuted during the Disneyland Resort 50th anniversary. It opens with a vocal introduction by Julie Andrews and uses songs and familiar phrases from popular park attractions to represent Walt Disney's dream of Disneyland.

An updated take on the original nighttime spectacular starts in February 2027. It travels through worlds from Walt Disney Animation Studios, including The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, and Pixar Animation Studios stories Finding Nemo and Toy Story.
The score includes a special arrangement of the 1960s television theme for Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.

Mickey Mouse and his pals lead the daytime parade, which features stunning floats, artistic costumes and dynamic performers. Pumpkins become carriages and swords are plucked from a stone, with scenes drawn from Cinderella and The Sword in the Stone, plus Pixar's Coco.
