Disneyland Resort – October 21, 2026 -- Disneyland park's Tomorrowland is being reimagined, with new attractions and more open spaces planned for the land. Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum announced the project at the end of the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa.
Walt Disney Imagineers have started designing the next chapter
Imagineers are already developing new attractions, additional open spaces and new places where guests can imagine the future. No attraction names, opening dates or budgets have been shared.
The plan honors the original land while adding new experiences
Disneyland Resort says it will try to preserve what guests cherish most about Tomorrowland. It will also introduce new experiences for the next generation of fans.
The goal is to restore the spirit of optimism, innovation and possibility that led Walt Disney to create "a vista into a world of wondrous ideas" in 1955. That spirit has defined the land for decades.
