Nashville – September 12, 2026 -- Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel and Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum will officially open together on September 29 in downtown Nashville.
The hotel offers 245 unique rooms and two live music venues
Created in partnership with Dolly Parton and Herschend, the hotel features 245 guest rooms and suites alongside two entertainment venues: Jolene's on the top floor and Parton's Live on the second floor. Jolene's hosts nightly performances from Nashville songwriters paired with cocktails and small plates, while Parton's Live offers writers' rounds and songwriter sessions.
Reservations open September 14 with performances from Parton's own family
Guest reservations for SongTeller Hotel open September 14. Parton's cousin, Richie Owens, performs at Parton's Live on September 16, and her niece, Jada Star, launches a twice-weekly artist residency on September 17 and 19. The hotel is also partnering with FEMcountry, a platform founded by music executive Leslie Fram, to host monthly performances spotlighting female artists.
The museum spans the hotel's entire third floor
Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum, created by Dolly Parton Productions, occupies the full third floor and spans more than 20,000 square feet. Filmed earlier this year, Dolly Parton herself guides visitors through interactive exhibits using new technology. The experience begins with a recreation of the small Great Smoky Mountains cabin where she grew up and continues through key moments of her life and career.
Tickets go on sale the day the doors open
Museum tickets become available for purchase on September 29, the same day the museum opens. The museum, located at 126 3rd Avenue North, has its own dedicated entrance and includes two retail stores selling official Dolly Parton merchandise. The space is also available for private events, including weddings and business gatherings.
