Franziska Bruchhagen Takes Over as Editor-in-Chief of ADAC Reisemagazin

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 24, 2025 – A new era begins for ADAC Reisemagazin as Franziska Bruchhagen steps into the role of editor-in-chief, bringing renewed creative direction to one of Germany’s most trusted travel publications. Motor Presse Hamburg is now producing the magazine entirely in-house, further expanding its Hamburg office and reinforcing its lifestyle publishing expertise.

The first issue under Bruchhagen’s editorial leadership is available now, featuring inspiring travel stories from the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg, the magical city of Marrakech, and the untamed wilderness of Montenegro. Readers can find it at newsstands or as an ePaper via shop.motorpresse.de.

A Strategic Move to Strengthen the Brand

Previously produced externally, ADAC Reisemagazin will now be developed directly by the Motor Presse editorial team located at An der Alster 47 in Hamburg. This change marks a new chapter for the magazine, aligning it more closely with the publisher’s vision.

On this occasion, we would like to sincerely thank Diddo Ramm and his team at the agency Relevance, who edited the ADAC Reisemagazin for us for five years, for the fantastic work they have done,” said Wolfgang Melcher, Managing Director of Motor Presse Hamburg.

With this move, the magazine will benefit from closer collaboration with other lifestyle titles in the publishing house and the creative strengths of the Hamburg-based team.

New Leadership with a Passion for Lifestyle and Travel

Franziska Bruchhagen, who will continue to serve as editor-in-chief of Women’s Health, now also leads the editorial direction of ADAC Reisemagazin. Known for her modern, consumer-focused storytelling, she brings a fresh voice to the title.

I’m very excited to shape a high-quality magazine for the future together with an innovative editorial team,” Bruchhagen shared. “The unmatched credibility of the ADAC Reisemagazin, combined with the extensive journalistic know-how and lifestyle experience of Motor Presse Hamburg, creates the perfect foundation for this.

Her dual role positions the magazine at the intersection of inspiring travel and modern lifestyle — a combination that resonates strongly with today’s curious and quality-seeking readers.
