The tours let guests settle into a single destination and take included sightseeing excursions and day trips from that base, rather than packing and unpacking at a new hotel each night. Globus and Cosmos Tour Directors and Local Guides accompany each trip, offering recommendations while leaving free time for independent exploration.
Seven itineraries span Europe and North America
Featured options include the Algarve Explorer, seven days based in Lagos, Portugal, from $2,099 per person for a May 4, 2027 departure. The Trieste, Venice & Slovenia Explorer runs seven days from $2,599 per person, departing August 27, 2027, while the Split & Dalmatian Coast Explorer offers seven days in Split from $2,699 per person starting September 26, 2027.
London & Country covers seven days based in London from $2,379 per person for an August 15, 2027 departure. The Music Cities: Nashville & Memphis tour runs seven days from $3,279 per person starting May 7, 2027, and Winter in Montréal and Québec offers six days from $3,329 per person for a December 2, 2027 departure. Gourmet Rome extends to eight days from $2,399 per person, departing August 29, 2027.
Company cites shift away from 'checklist sightseeing'
