Seasonal flights link São Paulo to Patagonia's glaciers and Antarctic gateway
The airline now offers a seasonal route from São Paulo/Guarulhos to El Calafate, with a connecting flight to Ushuaia. El Calafate serves as the entry point to Los Glaciares National Park and the Perito Moreno Glacier, while Ushuaia, nicknamed the "city at the end of the world," is one of the main departure points for Antarctica cruises.
A new nonstop route connects Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro starting September 16
Gol will launch nonstop service between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro on September 16, part of the airline's push to expand intercontinental connections through its international hub in Rio de Janeiro. The route gives European travelers a direct link to Brazil before continuing onward to other South American destinations.
Travelers can add a free stopover in Rio or São Paulo
Through the Gol Stopover program, international passengers can pause in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo for between 24 hours and three nights at no additional service cost. This allows travelers to explore Rio before continuing to São Paulo and onward to Patagonia.
More than 60 partner agreements extend the network across Europe
Gol maintains more than 60 codeshare and interline agreements, connecting various European markets to Brazil and other destinations across South America. Tickets for the new routes are available through Gol's website and travel agencies.
