Abu Dhabi – September 09, 2026 -- Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences will add three Harry Potter-themed zones to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the region's largest indoor theme park, with construction slated for completion in 2029.
Three new lands span roughly 63,000 square meters
The zones -- Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest -- will cover approximately 63,000 square meters (678,000 square feet) on Yas Island. All attractions within the lands will be world-exclusive, designed specifically for the Abu Dhabi park rather than replicated from other locations.
The expansion doubles down on Miral's long-running partnership
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral, said the addition marks a milestone in Yas Island's ongoing development and reinforces the emirate's push to diversify its economy through tourism and entertainment. Simon Robinson, President of Global Experiences & Studio Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, said the project deepens the connection between the company's franchises and the fans who follow them.
The park's footprint grows by more than 50%
The Harry Potter zones are part of a broader expansion at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi that also includes two previously announced DC attractions, Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away. Combined, the new additions will add about 70,000 square meters (753,478 square feet) of theme park space, expanding the park's total footprint by more than 50%.
Six immersive worlds become nine
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi currently features six immersive worlds since opening. The addition of the Harry Potter lands will bring that number to nine, broadening the park's offerings for visitors on Yas Island.
