Bangkok – October 21, 2026 -- QURO Bangkok Riverside, a 62-room hotel on the Chao Phraya River, has opened as the first Unscripted by Hyatt property in Thailand, and World of Hyatt members can earn double points on new bookings.
The former StandardX moves into Bang Lamphu under a new name
The hotel was previously The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit. It sits on Phra Arthit Road in Bangkok's historic Bang Lamphu neighborhood, beside Phra Arthit Pier. Khao San Road, the National Museum, the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun are all within easy reach.
General Manager Sunshine Jeamjirarut said the name comes from the word "Curate." She described the concept as a mix of art, immersive local experiences and an unhurried approach to service.
Rooms come with private balconies and neighborhood-inspired art
All 62 rooms have private balconies. Some offer riverfront or neighborhood views.
A rooftop bar, pool, gallery and restaurant fill the shared spaces
QURO Point of View, the rooftop bar, serves craft flavors with views of the Chao Phraya River. A rooftop pool is also available to guests.
In the lobby, QURO GALLERY and QURO SOURCED show changing art and selected pieces, alongside BEANS Coffee Roaster. Silpa Riverside Restaurant serves Thai flavors shaped by Bangkok's character.
World of Hyatt members earn 2X points on the opening offer
The hotel is a participating World of Hyatt property, so guests can earn and redeem points on eligible stays, subject to program terms. Members who book the "New Hotel Member Bonus Offer" receive 2X points for every full $1 USD, or equivalent, spent on that room rate and eligible incidental charges.
QURO Bangkok Riverside joins Hyatt's portfolio of 16 hotels in Thailand.
