Ranthambore – October 05, 2026 -- JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa is welcoming guests into its first full season after Ranthambore National Park's core zones reopened on October 1, 2026, following the seasonal monsoon closure. The property, recently launched as Marriott Bonvoy's 10,000th hotel globally and the brand's 11th JW Marriott in India, sits at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya mountain ranges.
The resort houses 127 rooms, including 14 tented suites with private pools
Accommodations range from 14 tented suites -- four with temperature-controlled private pools -- to 10 family villas with private pools, a Presidential Suite, lake-view executive rooms, junior suites with garden access, and deluxe guest rooms.
Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President for South Asia at Marriott International, said the brand aims to give travelers space to slow down and reconnect with nature as the park reopens for the season. General Manager Vivek Gomes Pereira called the milestone significant given the resort's status as Marriott's 10,000th property worldwide.
Daily activities extend beyond safari drives into pottery and pickleball
Guests can join guided nature walks, pottery and bangle-making sessions with local artists, camel cart rides, and art walks with Ranthambore-based painters. Evenings offer pickleball on one of the area's earliest courts, archery, a bowling alley, and stargazing, alongside private cooking sessions at an on-site Culinary School.
Skyloft restaurant reinterprets royal Mewar and Marwar recipes
The resort's signature restaurant and bar, Skyloft, is designed after the traditional machan, the raised towers once used for wildlife observation, and serves dishes drawn from the royal kitchens of Mewar and Marwar. Other dining options include Roar, an all-day international restaurant; Elan, a poolside bar serving wine, cocktails, and gelato; and JW Market, a grab-and-go outlet featuring homegrown Indian brands. Produce for the menus comes from the on-site JW Garden.
The Spa by JW offers six treatment rooms built around Ayurvedic dosha types
Wellness facilities include six spa treatment rooms with steam, sauna, and jacuzzi access, plus a fitness center and swimming pool. Families can use Eureka, an indoor children's club, and Replay, an arcade and games zone with mini golf, a remote-controlled racing track, and speed cricket.
The property's interiors, led by Singapore-based Ashton Design, incorporate native flora such as oleander, jamun, mango, and mulberry trees, drawing birdlife including the Purple Sunbird and Indian Paradise Flycatcher. The resort also offers 2,767 square meters of event space across six venues for weddings and corporate gatherings.
JW Marriott Ranthambore is located three hours from Jaipur International Airport, five hours from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, and 30 minutes from Sawai Madhopur Railway Station on the Delhi–Mumbai rail corridor.
