Plantation, Fla. – October 05, 2026 -- Marriott International Caribbean & Latin America has won top honors at the 2026 World Spa Awards, with properties recognized in Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico.

Four properties claimed country-level top spa titles

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Grand Cayman was named Cayman Islands' Best Resort Spa 2026, located at the Caribbean's first and only Forbes Travel Guide Triple Five-Star resort on Seven Mile Beach. The spa pairs in-house consultations with treatments from 111SKIN and ESPA, alongside vibroacoustic wellness beds that combine soundscapes with body-based relaxation.

Spa Botánico at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, took Puerto Rico's Best Resort Spa 2026 award. Spread across a five-acre sanctuary, it features traditional "Manos Santas" healers, treehouse massages, garden bathing rituals and outdoor sound healing, plus an infinity reflection pool overlooking pineapple and garden grounds.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, St. Thomas won U.S. Virgin Islands' Best Resort Spa 2026, offering ocean-inspired, al fresco treatments scented with tropical oils and one of the region's most diverse therapy menus.

In Mexico, The St. Regis Spa at The St. Regis Mexico City earned Mexico's Best Hotel Spa 2026. Located above Paseo de la Reforma, it uses ancestral techniques, local herbs and massage therapies tied to traditional Mexican cosmology.

Other Marriott properties in the region earned nominations

The 2026 World Spa Awards, now in its 12th year, also recognized additional nominees from Marriott's Caribbean and Latin America portfolio: The Spa at Salterra in Turks & Caicos, Nimbu Spa at Nekajui Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica, AWAY Spa at W São Paulo in Brazil, and Andes Spirit Spa at Palacio del Inka in Peru.
