MSC's Two-Story Family Villa at Sea Has a Secret Door

GENEVA – October 21, 2026 -- Families of up to eight can now book a two-story, 2,475-square-foot villa at sea with its own private movie theater, kids' suite and climbing tower. MSC Cruises calls it the Grand Hamptons Villa, and it will debut on the new MSC World Atlantic in November 2027 with sailings from Port Canaveral.

The villa sleeps eight across several bedrooms

The villa offers more than 2,475 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space. MSC says it suits larger and multigenerational families, or two families traveling together.

The primary stateroom has a walk-in closet, a vanity and a private ocean-view balcony with an outdoor shower. A double cabin and a separate twin bedroom add flexibility for bigger groups.

Kids get a suite with custom bunk beds and their own TVs

The dedicated kids' suite has custom bunk beds, an individual TV screen for each bunk and a private bathroom. MSC describes it as a private world for children within the villa.

A climbing tower leads to a secret door with daily surprises

The double-height living area has panoramic ocean views and a transformative ceiling. It also has spaces for dining, relaxing and play, plus a private library, a private kitchenette and a bar.

A climbing tower leads to an interactive, ship-inspired play area. A secret door there reveals new surprises every day.

The Entertainment Loft adds a private movie theater lounge for family movie nights, a digital gaming table and a LEGO® wall. There is also an ocean-view swinging chair and a private bar.

A private terrace comes with a whirlpool and deck games

The expansive oceanfront terrace has a whirlpool, lounge seating and classic deck games.

Yacht Club perks include 24-hour butler service and unlimited dining

Villa guests get the MSC Yacht Club experience. That includes 24-hour butler and concierge service and access to the Yacht Club's exclusive areas. Other perks are a dedicated cleaning team, the Premium Extra Drinks package, a Fun Pass, unlimited specialty dining and Wi-Fi.

Seven- and 14-night Caribbean sailings leave from Port Canaveral

MSC World Atlantic will alternate seven- and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Stops include Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the line's private island in The Bahamas. The villa is the only accommodation of its kind on board.

The design was inspired by the elegance of the Hamptons and developed with Storyland Studios, a global destination and experience design firm. MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said that as a family-owned company, "we understand what makes a great family holiday."
