Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- RayNeo unveiled its newest augmented reality glasses lineup at IFA 2026, introducing the RayNeo GT series as the first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision playback, alongside the lightweight RayNeo iO smart glasses built for everyday AI assistance.
The launch event, held in Hall 21A, brought together RayNeo's product and design teams with partners Dolby Laboratories and Bang & Olufsen. Both the RayNeo GT Max and RayNeo iO were named winners of the IFA Innovation Awards 2026.
Dolby Vision arrives on AR glasses for the first time
Paired with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, the GT series plays Dolby Vision content, dynamically optimizing color and contrast for streaming video. The glasses also support real-time AI-driven SDR-to-HDR conversion, upgrading standard-dynamic-range content on the fly.
"Whether in theaters, at home or now on the go, we're pushing audiovisual science forward to make every entertainment experience more immersive, more authentic and more true to creative intent," said Arkin Kol, Dolby Laboratories' vice president of commercial partnerships for Europe.
Bang & Olufsen tunes audio for a compact frame
Following their 2025 collaboration on the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, Bang & Olufsen engineers refined the GT series' sound profile using objective measurements and professional listening tests, aiming for stronger bass without sacrificing clarity in a compact, lightweight format.
RayNeo iO weighs just 33 grams
The iO smart glasses feature a discreet heads-up display showing schedules, weather, navigation and phone notifications without requiring users to look down at another screen. The glasses support live captions, multilingual translation, a hands-free teleprompter and AI-generated voice recording summaries, with head-motion gestures enabling control and switching between supported large language models.
RayNeo claims the top spot in global AR shipments
Counterpoint Research ranked RayNeo first globally in AR glasses shipments for the first half of 2026, a position IDC confirmed both worldwide and in China. CINNO Research, RUNTO and AVC also placed RayNeo at the top of major AR, AI and smart glasses segments in the Chinese market.
