Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- RayNeo used IFA 2026 to launch a new lineup of augmented-reality glasses, including the GT Series, billed as the world's first AR glasses supporting Dolby Vision playback, and the 33-gram RayNeo iO smart glasses built for everyday AI assistance.
The launch event, held in Hall 21A, brought together RayNeo's product and design teams alongside Dolby Laboratories and Bang & Olufsen, who contributed to the imaging and audio engineering behind the new devices.
Dolby Vision brings cinema-grade contrast to a portable display
When paired with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, the GT Series plays back Dolby Vision content, dynamically optimizing brightness, color and contrast beyond standard HDR. The glasses also support real-time AI SDR-to-HDR conversion, upgrading standard-dynamic-range content on the fly. Arkin Kol, Dolby's Vice President of Commercial Partnerships for Europe, said the company's goal is to make entertainment experiences more immersive whether viewed in theaters, at home, or now on the move.
Bang & Olufsen tuned the GT Series audio after last year's Air 4 Pro collaboration
Following their 2025 partnership on the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, Bang & Olufsen's acoustic engineers took baseline measurements of the GT Series and refined the sound through objective testing and professional listening sessions. The tuning focused on delivering stronger bass without sacrificing clarity in a compact frame, according to Anders, Bang & Olufsen's Global Head of Consumer Electronics.
The RayNeo iO puts notifications, translation and note-taking in the wearer's field of view
At 33 grams, the iO uses a head-up display to surface calendar alerts, weather, navigation cues and phone notifications without requiring users to look down at a separate screen. It also offers live captions, multilingual translation, hands-free teleprompting, and voice recordings with AI-generated summaries, letting users switch between supported large language models and control the interface with subtle head gestures.
Both devices won IFA Innovation Awards 2026
The RayNeo GT Max and RayNeo iO were named winners of the IFA Innovation Awards 2026. RayNeo said Counterpoint Research ranked it No. 1 globally in AR glasses shipments in the first half of 2026, while IDC placed the company first both globally and in China for the same category.

Pricing: the RayNeo iO costs $499/€549 with a standard case or $549/€599 bundled with a charging case, available in Polar Night gray and Dune gold, with a $30/€30 launch discount.
