Alongside the IFA Innovation Award, RingConn Gen 3 received a CHIP Highlight and Best of IFA recognitions from five outlets: Digital Trends, Trusted Reviews, Android Headlines, PC Welt and Apartment Therapy. Technology and consumer publications CHIP.de and connect.de also published favorable reviews of the device.RingConn is already sold at nearly 150 physical stores.
The company said its products are available at close to 150 offline locations, including retail stores and pharmacies, giving shoppers a chance to try the ring before buying. RingConn representatives met with distributors and buyers from across Europe and other international markets during IFA to discuss expanding the brand's retail footprint on the continent.RingConn markets the Gen 3 as a wellness and fitness tracker rather than a medical device, noting it is not intended for diagnosing or treating disease.
