La Proue Debuts Coastal Fragrances at Emmys' Giving Suite

Los Angeles – September 11, 2026 -- La Proue, a female-founded luxury fragrance house, will introduce two new Eau de Parfums, Phare 143 and Voilune, backstage at the 78th Emmy Awards Official Giving Suite, produced by Distinctive Assets in support of the Television Academy Foundation.

The exclusive backstage experience will welcome presenters, performers and nominees including Jamie Lee Curtis, Lisa Kudrow, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jean Smart, Zendaya, Quinta Brunson, Keri Russell, Claire Danes, Carey Mulligan, Dakota Fanning and host Mariska Hargitay, making them among the first to experience the brand's scents.

Founder Leighanne Neville built the brand around women who navigate their own path

"I created La Proue as a reminder to stand in your own strength — feminine, grounded and confident," Neville said, adding that debuting the fragrances backstage at the Emmys, among artists who forged their own paths, feels meaningful to the brand's mission.

Raised on the coast of Massachusetts as the only girl among six brothers, Neville learned to drive a boat before a car, and said her father taught her she deserved to be at the helm just as much as her brothers. That belief shaped both her career and the name La Proue, French for "the bow of the ship."

Both fragrances are hand-poured in California and cruelty-free certified

Phare 143, French for "lighthouse," is a luminous floral inspired by salt air and first light, while Voilune evokes coastal dusk. Both Eau de Parfums use clean ingredients, are hand-poured in California and carry Leaping Bunny certification.

Each retails for $115 and is available at LaProue.com. After more than three decades in finance and venture-backed companies, Neville said she saw firsthand the barriers women entrepreneurs face in accessing capital, prompting her to launch the Women at the Helm Fund, which directs a portion of every purchase toward mentoring and funding women entrepreneurs.

The 78th Emmy Awards, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, airs live Monday, September 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC and streams on Peacock from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE.
