Eyemart Express Opens First Houston-Area Store, Same-Day Glasses in Conroe
Conroe – September 08, 2026 -- Eyemart Express is entering the Greater Houston market for the first time, opening a store in Conroe on Sept. 8 at 1302 W. Davis St. It's the first of four locations the national optical retailer plans to open in the area by year's end.
Same-day glasses aim to remove cost and wait-time barriers
Each store operates an on-site lens lab, letting most customers walk out with finished glasses within an hour of purchase instead of waiting a week or more. The 3,442-square-foot Conroe location stocks more than 2,000 frames for adults and kids, with a complete pair of single vision glasses starting under $20. The assortment includes in-house brands alongside designer lines such as Versace, Lacoste, Kendra Scott, and Nike, plus children's collections from Jonas Paul, Dr. Seuss, and My Little Pony.
