Storm Hit Your Roof in Easton? Do These Steps in Order
Easton – October 16, 2026 -- Homeowners in Easton, Pa., who find roof storm damage should inspect from the ground, photograph everything and call a roofing contractor before attempting any fix, according to a HelloNation article featuring Mike Fleck of Fleck Roofing & Construction.
Stay off the roof and inspect from the ground
Wet or damaged roof surfaces can be dangerous, so the article advises against climbing up. A visual check from the ground can reveal missing shingles, broken gutters or debris around the property.
Photos of the roofline and interior stains support an insurance claim
Clear photos of the roofline and visible problems, plus interior signs such as water stains, create a record for a claim. Even minor damage can worsen quickly, which makes early documentation important.
