ART COLOGNE 2026: What Visitors Can Expect From Returning Galleries, New Names and a Museum Night Link

COLOGNE, GERMANY – November 1, 2026 – The 59th ART COLOGNE runs from November 5 to 8, 2026, and Art Director Daniel Hug has shared a first look at what art lovers can expect in Cologne. The fair is again organised into four segments, GALLERIES, NEUMARKT, COLLABORATIONS and ART + OBJECT, with 165 participating galleries and art dealers. Several well-known names are returning, and newcomers arrive from across Europe and the United States. For visitors, it is a chance to discover art in person, meet galleries face to face, and see a market that Hug describes as stabilising.

Bronner Family Wins ART COLOGNE Prize 2026 for Opening Up Private Art Collecting in Düsseldorf

COLOGNE, GERMANY – November 1, 2026 – The Bronner family, art collectors from Düsseldorf, has won the ART COLOGNE Prize 2026, announced by Koelnmesse and the German association of galleries and art dealers, the Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsthändler. The award recognises three generations of collecting, supporting and sharing art, including through the Philara Collection, a cultural institution in Düsseldorf that is open to the public. For art lovers, it is a reminder that private collections can become welcoming places for everyone, not just insiders. The prize will be presented on 6 November 2026 in Cologne, during ART COLOGNE week.
