Yamaha's New Digital Saxophones Add 89 Voices and USB-C

BUENA PARK – November 03, 2026 -- Yamaha's YDS-152 and YDS-122 Digital Saxophones, the second generation of its breath-controlled digital wind instrument series, are available now in the U.S. The models succeed the original YDS-150 and YDS-120 and add 16 new acoustic instrument sounds, USB-C connectivity and an updated pitch controller.

The sound library grows to 89 voices

Both models carry 89 instrument voices. The 16 new acoustic sounds include violin, flute and timpani, and they sit alongside a selection of saxophone and synthesizer voices. Yamaha says the larger library lets players try more genres on a single instrument.

Keys and pitch control get an upgrade

The acoustic, saxophone-style key layout stays, but the keys now offer improved durability and action. An updated analog controller handles pitch manipulation, and the sound responds to the player's breath.

Yamaha Launches Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar Guitar at $1,599.99

Buena Park, Calif. – September 24, 2026 -- Yamaha has released the Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar (RS20MM), a production electric guitar priced at $1,599.99 and now available through authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide.

The guitar recreates Mancuso's custom instrument down to the pickups

Developed with guitarist Matteo Mancuso, the RS20MM is built to replicate the tone, feel and performance of his personal custom Revstar. It features the same DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups used in Mancuso's instrument, designed to deliver clarity, sustain and dynamic response.

Mancuso has played Revstar guitars since 2017 and became a Yamaha artist in 2019. The RS20MM marks only the second widely available artist-signature model in the Revstar lineup.

Yamaha's Tiny New Sound Bar Packs Dolby Atmos Into 23.5 Inches

Buena Park, Calif. – September 18, 2026 -- Yamaha has unveiled the B200A, a 23.5-inch Dolby Atmos sound bar aimed at bedrooms, apartments, home offices and gaming setups where space is tight. The compact bar will cost $249.95 and hits shelves in November 2026.

The B200A squeezes 3D audio into a small footprint

Yamaha combined Dolby Atmos with its Hi-Fi engineering background to build an audio field around listeners rather than just projecting sound forward. A built-in subwoofer handles low-end output, and a Bass Extension mode adds extra punch for movies and games without requiring a separate subwoofer unit.

"The B200A was designed for people who want better sound without giving up valuable space," said Alex Sadeghian, Yamaha's director of consumer audio. He said the bar targets bedrooms, apartments, home offices and gaming setups where users want immersive sound in a simple, everyday package.
