Apply Now for $3,000 Schneider Electric Tech Scholarships

Atlanta – October 19, 2026 -- Students across the United States can apply for $3,000 scholarships to fund technical education and training, with an application deadline of Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Schneider Electric and SKILLED Nation, an organization that expands access to training for high-demand skilled careers, are adding $100,000 in scholarships to the Schneider Electric SKILLED Scholarship Program.

Scholarships cover training for building and energy careers

The program is now in its fourth year. Schneider Electric has put more than $300,000 into it so far. The money helps pay for postsecondary education and training in building automation, energy management, HVAC, electrical systems, facilities engineering and maintenance, green building and sustainability, security and related technical fields.

SKILLED Nation's Founding Executive Director, Alvin Townley, said the scholarships help students pay for training in installing, operating and maintaining the systems that power buildings, energy infrastructure and communities.

Schneider Electric ties the funding to workforce needs

Chris Collins, Senior Vice President, Secure Power, North America at Schneider Electric, described workforce development as a strategic investment in customers' competitiveness and the nation's energy resilience.

Since 2009, the company has trained more than 1 million young people in over 60 countries in energy management skills. Under its Impact 2030 sustainability ambition, it aims to equip more than 3 million young people with skills in electrification and sustainability.

The program grew from New York and New Jersey to a national offering

The partnership launched in 2022 with scholarships in New York and New Jersey. It later expanded to Boston, Dallas and other communities. Qualifying students nationwide can now apply.

Who can apply

Schneider Electric employees, their spouses and their dependents are not eligible.
