Louisville – September 28, 2026 -- Angel's Envy will release its Cellar Collection Volume 6, a rye whiskey finished in both peach brandy and toasted oak barrels, nationwide on October 9, 2026, priced at $199.99 per 750 mL bottle.
Master Distiller Owen Martin uses two finishing stages for the first time in the series
Created by Master Distiller Owen Martin, Volume 6 marks the first Cellar Collection release to undergo two distinct finishing processes rather than one. The blend of rye whiskeys spends 15 to 23 months in peach brandy barrels or 6 to 12 months in toasted oak barrels before blending, with total aging ranging between 8 and 11 years.
"The Cellar Collection is where we challenge ourselves to explore what's possible through finishing, while using the very best of our whiskey archives," Martin said. He added that the peach brandy barrels contribute vibrant fruitiness while the toasted oak brings warmth, resulting in a whiskey he calls complex yet balanced.
The whiskey is bottled at 106.4 proof with notes of stone fruit and oak
Cellar Collection Volume 6 is bottled at 106.4 proof, or 53.2% ABV. The nose offers ripe stone fruit, baking spice, vanilla, and oak, while the palate delivers peach, caramel, cinnamon, toasted oak, and rye spice, finishing with lingering oak and orchard fruit.
Roughly 36,000 bottles will reach shelves across the country
Angel's Envy will distribute approximately 36,000 bottles of the release. Each Cellar Collection expression undergoes years of barrel evaluation and blending before selection, according to the company.
