Bala Enzyme's patent-pending ENZYMX RECOVERY ACCELERATORTM puts turmeric and the plant-based enzymes bromelain and papain at the center of the formula. The company says the blend is meant to help support a healthy inflammatory response. Amino acids and the electrolytes sodium, potassium and magnesium are included to support hydration.
Each serving has zero sugar, 15 calories when mixed with water and no artificial coloring.
A dental surgeon built it around her own injury recovery
Husband-and-wife dental surgeons Dr. Farnoush Fadavi and Dr. Arash Aftabi co-founded the brand. The idea came from Dr. Fadavi's recovery from a life-changing injury. She could not take NSAIDs and wanted a convenient daily way to support her body's inflammatory response.
