Lulu and Georgia Opens Its First Showroom on Melrose Avenue

Los Angeles – October 14, 2026 -- Lulu and Georgia, the home decor brand that has sold online since 2012, now has a physical flagship at 8735 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood's Design District, where shoppers can touch materials, check scale and book free design consultations.

The showroom is built to feel like a home rather than a store. Visitors move through it room by room, from living and dining rooms to bedrooms, lounges and an outdoor patio.

A courtyard mural and custom tile set the scene

Guests enter through a courtyard with a mural by longtime collaborator and designer Sarah Sherman Samuel. Inside, a skylit entryway with custom mosaic tile flooring leads into spaces designed with LA-based designer Kevin Klein.

The floor mixes traditional and modern pieces in every category. It includes bestsellers, selections from the latest launches and collaborations, and limited-edition collections.

Free consultations cover floor plans, colors and materials

Visitors can book complimentary consultations with the in-house team. Experts offer floor plans, color palettes and material selections for homeowners and trade professionals alike. A curated library of swatches and materials is on hand, and guests can take samples home.

A founder returns to her family's old neighborhood

Founder and CEO Sara Sugarman called the opening "a major milestone" after more than a decade as a digitally native brand. She said customers have asked to feel materials, understand scale and get real-time guidance from experts in person. The location also carries personal meaning for her: her family's business once stood in the neighborhood.

The showroom is meant to complement the brand's e-commerce platform, answering what the company describes as growing demand for hands-on discovery.

Events and wine nights are planned

The space will also host product launch events, designer-led panels, intimate gatherings and brand collaborations. Public events will include happy hours with Avaline, the showroom's exclusive wine partner.

Over the years, Lulu and Georgia has partnered with designers and tastemakers including Jake Arnold, Eny Lee Parker, Heidi Caillier, DISC Interiors, Ginny Macdonald and Aimee Song.

The showroom is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
