LaserAway reaches its 20th year without closing a clinic

The opening coincides with the company's 20th anniversary. LaserAway says it has grown continuously for two decades without a single clinic closure. Dr. Roy Winston and brothers Scott, Brock and Todd Heckmann founded it in 2006, starting with one clinic on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Today the company operates in 36 states, and all locations are privately owned and operated, with no franchises.

Licensed medical professionals perform every treatment

Nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered nurses carry out all treatments. Dr. Will Kirby serves as Chief Medical Officer and leads a Medical Board of more than 25 board-certified dermatologists.

West Hollywood – October 12, 2026 -- Patients in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and greater Los Angeles can now get Morpheus8, FaceTite and AccuTite treatments for skin texture, scarring and mild laxity at Sunset Oral and Facial Surgery, the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgeon David Salehani, DDS, MD.

Morpheus8 pairs microneedling with radiofrequency heat

Developed by InMode, Morpheus8 uses fine microneedles to create tiny, controlled channels in the skin. Radiofrequency energy then heats the deeper tissue layers to stimulate the body's own collagen production. Needle depth can be adjusted to reach up to four millimeters below the surface, so each session can be tailored to the treatment area and the patient's concern.

West Hollywood – September 19, 2026 -- Dialog Café, the West Hollywood breakfast spot known for its pasture-raised egg burritos, will reopen October 3, 2026, inside The Sun Rose West Hollywood hotel on Sunset Blvd, offering its full menu to longtime customers whose original café has been closed since a water main incident in July.

The café's original location sustained substantial damage during the July 16, 2026, water main incident and remains closed, with no reopening date set. Founders Narbeh and Tadeh Ghazalian say restoration could take approximately one year or longer, though the timeline remains an estimate.
