Midea's VitaBreeze AC Lets You Aim Airflow From Your Phone

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Midea has unveiled VitaBreeze, a new air conditioning system that lets users direct airflow to specific spots in a room via smartphone, with a European launch set for early 2027. The product made its global debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin.

Smartphone control maps out airflow room by room

The system's AirGrid Intelligence feature scans a room's layout and gives users visual control over where cool or warm air goes, whether that's toward a yoga mat or away from a sofa spot prone to drafts. An extra-wide distribution angle aims to cover every corner of a room, and built-in person detection lets the unit follow occupants or steer clear of them, depending on preference.

Draft-free tech gets a 30% bigger air outlet

Midea's Breezeless Pro Evolution, an update to its existing draft-free system, increases the air outlet area by 30%. Cool air disperses through micro-perforations designed to create gentle, multi-directional breezes rather than a single direct blast, with full cooling performance delivered immediately at startup.

Dehumidifying no longer means a colder room

VitaBreeze's ClimaBalance Precision function removes excess moisture from the air while holding room temperature steady, addressing a common complaint with traditional dehumidifiers that inadvertently cool a space. Midea says this keeps rooms comfortable even during rainy-day dehumidification, including in children's rooms.

An efficiency algorithm makes constant micro-adjustments

ECOMASTER 2.0, built on Midea's existing patented algorithm, predicts climate conditions and makes small, proactive adjustments to cut energy waste at a granular level. The company says the cumulative effect of these micro-adjustments produces significant overall efficiency gains.

Design tailored to European interiors

VitaBreeze's casing features softer edges and a more refined look aimed at blending into contemporary European home interiors. Midea has confirmed the system will roll out across Europe starting in early 2027, following its IFA 2026 debut.
