London – September 15, 2026 -- Houseplant, the lifestyle brand co-founded by Seth Rogen, has released The House Scent Reed Diffuser, a new home fragrance made in partnership with British fragrance house Droplet, priced at £40 in the UK and $45 in the US.
The scent originated from Rogen's personal visit to Grasse, France
The fragrance began as a bespoke creation Rogen made himself during a fragrance-making experience in Grasse, France, widely known as the world's fragrance capital. Droplet, founded by siblings Sam and Lucie Beecham, later refined and bottled the scent for retail.
Rogen said the Grasse experience showed him how personal and complex scent-building can be, and that he wanted a fragrance that felt warm, inviting, and a little unexpected for his own home.
The blend combines pepper, floral and woody notes
The House Scent mixes Pink Pepper, Peony, Santal, and Pine, aiming for a balance of crisp woodland tones, soft florals, and warm woods.
The diffuser is housed in hand-blown crystal glass and lasts up to 90 days
The product is vegan and cruelty-free, and Droplet designed the vessel to double as a sculptural home object. The Beechams said their goal was to preserve the personal character of Rogen's original creation while shaping it into a fragrance suited for everyday home use.
This marks the second collaboration between Houseplant and Droplet
The release follows the two brands' earlier incense collection together. The House Scent Reed Diffuser launched on September 9, 2026, and is available at www.thedropletco.co.uk in the UK, and at www.houseplant.com and www.thedropletco.com in the US.
