Houston – October 13, 2026 -- Visual Comfort & Co. is launching the first lighting collection from Paris-based designer Verena Brausch, with four product families covering chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, and table lamps. The collection debuts at Fall High Point Market.
Brausch pairs solid and translucent materials throughout the collection
Brausch trained in transportation design and built her career at BMW and Mercedes-Benz. She also has a background in industrial, furniture, and interior design. Across the range, she contrasts solid and translucent materials, using etched glass and natural alabaster to soften and diffuse the light.
Sean Lavin, Chief Design Officer of Visual Comfort & Co., said the company was drawn to her point of view. He said her attention to proportion and materials gives each piece a strong visual presence, with the quality of light central to every design.
Four families each get their own character
- GLOW combines architectural geometry with soft, diffused light. Its glass dome gives the piece a sculptural, tactile character.
- FAUBOURG table lamps are conceived as illuminated sculptures. A softly diffused glass dome sits on a precise brass or bronze base.
- EVER is a highly sculptural family that combines radial movement and refined proportions with natural alabaster and brass and bronze forms.
- BOULE is built around atmosphere and repetition, with softly glowing glass forms creating a sense of rhythm and movement.
The four series share a language of material, proportion, and light, while each keeps its own identity.
Brausch wants each piece to elevate a room naturally
Brausch described lighting as deeply personal and emotional. She said she wanted the collection to bring together noble materials, precision, and a strong sense of presence.
A launch party takes place Sunday, October 18
The Verena Brausch Collection Launch Party starts at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, at the Visual Comfort & Co. showroom in High Point.
