Survey: 96% of Parents Report Less Stress With Hands-Free Babywearing

Encino, Calif. – October 07, 2026 -- Nearly half of parents with children under age 2 say hands-free babywearing saves them at least one hour a day, according to a new survey commissioned by baby gear brand KeaBabies.

Parents gain back meaningful chunks of their day

The survey of 250 parents and guardians of children ages 0-2, conducted in September 2026, found that 47.6% of respondents save at least one hour on a typical day using hands-free babywearing, while 83% estimate they save at least 30 minutes. KeaBabies points to its Original Wrap Carrier as one tool helping close that time gap.

Parents use the extra time to cook, work and manage family life

Among parents surveyed, 72.4% said they can prepare a full family dinner while babywearing hands-free. 54.4% use the time to clear an inbox or work on a major project, 42.4% join a video or phone call, and 38% manage an older child's meltdown or homework session.
