Sisters' Wearable QR Tech Lands in Emmy Gift Bags

Los Angeles – September 12, 2026 -- ShareAScan, a patent-pending platform that turns clothing, accessories and everyday objects into scannable digital links, will be featured in this year's Emmy nominee and presenter gift bags.

A single QR code can hold unlimited changing content

Unlike a standard QR code locked to one destination, ShareAScan lets owners swap out what a scan reveals -- text, photos, videos, music, social profiles, portfolios, shops or causes -- without replacing the physical item or code itself.

Two sisters built the platform while still in school

Founders Shara and Kailey Zuckerman run the Maryland-based company as students: Shara studies business, finance and artificial intelligence in college, while Kailey is still in high school. Both have competed in Shark Tank-style contests and the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition.
