Check Bags in Santa Rosa, Skip Security at SFO: New Coach Service

Santa Rosa – October 12, 2026 -- Starting Nov. 17, North Bay travelers flying out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO) can check bags and clear TSA security at Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport (STS), then ride a coach straight to SFO for $55 one way.

Security and bags are handled at STS before the ride

The service is called Straight to Gate and is run by Landline. Passengers flying United, Alaska, Hawaiian, American or JetBlue out of SFO check in, drop their bags and clear TSA security at STS. They then board a secure coach that drives nonstop to the SFO airfield, walk into the terminal and go to their gate without a second security screening. Their bags are transferred to their flight.

Coaches have extra-legroom leather seats in a 2x1 layout, Starlink Wi-Fi, power at every seat and an onboard restroom. They are wheelchair accessible.
