Lima – – October 09, 2026 -- DFSK has launched the E5 PLUS in Peru, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV rated for up to 142 km of all-electric driving and up to 1,200 km of combined range.
The launch in Lima coincided with the brand's 20th anniversary in the country. Company representatives, local dealers, media and business partners attended.

The SUV runs on the SERES Super Hybrid system. Both range figures are NEDC-rated. DFSK says the setup is meant to cover everything from daily city driving to family road trips.
Three demo zones showed what the SUV can do
At the launch, guests moved through three interactive experience zones:
- An outdoor camping display showed the vehicle's external power supply running lighting, a projector and cooking appliances.
- A cargo demonstration covered the interior space and storage versatility.
- An interactive display illustrated the extended driving range and potential fuel cost savings.
Milett Figueroa was introduced as the E5 PLUS product ambassador. She shared her impressions of the vehicle's design, technology and comfort.
DFSK has sold in Peru since 2006 and now has 27 dealerships
DFSK entered the Peruvian market in 2006 with commercial vehicles. It later added passenger vehicles and, more recently, new energy vehicles. Today it operates 27 authorized dealerships across Lima and other major Peruvian cities. The brand is part of SERES Group.
DFSK representative Xie Mingru described the anniversary as a milestone and a new beginning, and said the company remains committed to investing in the Peruvian market.
The event also introduced DFSK's refreshed global brand direction, "DRIVES FOR BETTER." Under it, the company says it will focus on reliable products, quality services and new energy mobility solutions for Peruvian customers.
