Dubai – October 14, 2026 -- HONOR has announced the upcoming HONOR X9e Pro, the first Pro model in its X Series, with an 11,000mAh battery, 3-metre drop resistance, IP69K water protection and a 10,000-nit display.
The phone survives 3-metre drops and 10 metres underwater
HONOR says a new 360° shock-absorbing architecture protects against drops of up to 3 metres. The phone earned the SGS Premium Performance 5-Star rating for Drop Resistance in Harsh Scenarios, which covers complex terrains and low-angle drops.
IP69K protection lets it withstand submersion in water up to 10 metres and supports underwater photography. It also handles hot-water splashes of up to 85°C.
An 11,000mAh battery runs up to 3 days
HONOR rates the battery at up to 3 days of use in a defined mixed-usage scenario. The rated capacity is 10,510mAh, with a typical capacity of 11,000mAh. In HONOR's internal tests, endurance was validated at 50°C across navigation, TikTok and YouTube playback, calls, standby and music.
80W HONOR SuperCharge speeds up refills, and it requires the HONOR 80W charger and cable. 27W wired reverse charging lets the phone power compatible phones and accessories. According to HONOR Lab simulations, the battery keeps more than 80% of its capacity after 5 years of use.
The 6.8-inch display reaches 10,000 nits of brightness
The 6.8-inch 1.5K screen runs at up to 120Hz. A hardware-level 1-nit ultra-dark mode reduces glare in dim surroundings. Ten HONOR Oasis Eye Comfort technologies include AI Defocus Display, Motion Sickness Relief, AI Personalized Display and Ultra Dark Mode. Touch recognition also accepts input from gloved or wet hands.
A 108MP main camera adds underwater color correction
The 108MP main camera is paired with CIPA 6.0-level stabilization that combines OIS and EIS. An exclusive underwater color correction solution aims to keep colors accurate in underwater shots.
AI FreeGrip detects which hand holds the phone
AI FreeGrip recognizes the active hand and places the capsule on the matching side of the screen. The phone also supports single-handed call answering. Google Gemini powers the AI assistance, and Creative Editor 2.0 handles editing and personalization.
The HONOR X9e Pro will come in four colors: Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black. The source gives no price or release date.
